  •   Be careful what you click on
    •   Not everything that glitters is gold; likewise not every program is as safe as it claims to be. Whether it’s an ad or a download. If it’s not familiar to you then you probably shouldn’t click on it.

  •   Never type your password outside of the password box it belongs in.
    •   This one is especially important. We will never ask you for any password to anything over an e-mail or other form of electronic communication

  •   Lock your computer when you step away
    •   It might not sound like such a big deal, but why even bother if you’re just going to leave your computer (With all that data we’re trying so hard to protect) unattended and unlocked for anyone who walks by to access and steal?

  •   Let us know if something strange happens
    • If you ever get an unrecognized pop-up you can always send us a screenshot using the snipping tool, or even call us and ask us what it is. You might think you’re bothering us, but I promise you’re not. In reality it’s our job to keep Amridge’s computer system safe. The Technology Department is here to make sure your computers run perfectly so that your job is just that much easier. So please, help us to help you.
